Join I AM! Every Wednesday till the first week of June. If you're an MCHS male, see Luke Alvez or Abebe Morris for more information.

**************MEDICAL TERM/QUESTION OF THE DAY!********************************************************************************************
(This is a new feature of the Daily Announcements, and a way to build up your medical knowledge while still in high school. Aim to check the Medical Term/Question of the Day every day of the week!)
H & P - stands for History and Physical.
H & P refers to the process of asking patients questions about their current and past medical problems, medication history, allergies, family history, social circumstances, and symptoms before proceeding with a physical examination. All new admissions to a skilled care nursing facility are required to have an H & P performed by a physician at the time of their admission.
***************SENIOR ADVICE TO YOUNGER STUDENTS!****************************************************************************************************
(Another new feature for 2016, the seniors class will offer daily nuggets of advice to younger students)

From Trinay Gonzalez '16: Freshmen coming into this school should take the work seriously and not play around. If you do, you will regret it going into your senior year because of your GPA (you can't go to certain schools). But try to be yourself and be friendly; you'll make friends quickly. Also, get into after school activities because it looks good in the future on college applications.
SHOUT OUT! Does your class read the announcements? Shout your teacher out! See Ms. Davis or email
