The Marie Curie School for Medicine, Nursing, and the Health Professions is a small Bronx High School. We are dedicated to providing a rigorous course of study and integrating, within all subject areas, perspectives from the medical and health sectors. We have strong partnerships with community based organizations such as Moshulu Montefiore Community Center, Jewish Home Life Center, Lehman College, and Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Our student body is comprised of mixed ability learners. We believe all students can succeed and should be exposed to careers within the medical and health professions.
Strong Candidates will possess state certification in the required content and teaching portfolios that demonstrate common core aligned instruction, examples of multiple entry points for students, and examples of your philosophy towards assessment and parent outreach.
MCHS provides opportunities for Teachers to co-plan on a daily basis. We have an ever expanding after-school and Saturday extra-curricular programs. We provide mentorship for new teachers and monthly new teacher meetings. We are committed to providing in service training on site as well as providing opportunities for all staff to attend training outside of the school building as well
