Guidance Support

At MCHS we care very much about the wellbeing of each member of our community. We have the following supports built in: 

Counselors: 
Mrs. Edwards assists with scholar programs, social and emotional support, working papers, and so much more. She is located in Room 511. 

Mrs. Nunez works with 9th and 10th graders on planning for the future, finding academic success, and meeting their full potential. She facilitates the Workplace Challenge Program, and she can be found in Room 526. 

Social Workers: 
Ms. Dale helps with any issues! She is located in Room 523. 

Rachel Silva is our Social Work Intern this year. Rachel is available to talk through issues, helps to run the Gender Sexuality Alliance, and can be found in Ms. Dale’s office (Room 523). 

Ms. Davis helps with planning for life after high school, including college, careers, and life skills. She helps with College Now, and internships, and facilitates the Green Justice Club, Gender Sexuality Alliance, and Student Council. She is located in Room 526. 

SAPIS Counselor
Ms. Perry is our Counselor who helps with making wise decisions around substance use/abuse. She facilitates workshops in classes, runs groups, and meets with students individually. She is located in Room 503.
