College Now

MCHS partners with Lehman College to offer qualified scholars the opportunity to earn college credits for free while they are still enrolled in high school. While Lehman offers a wide variety of courses each semester and has often held a summer program, our FRNYC scholars may enroll in courses directly aligned with the Nursing major at Lehman College.

Sample College Now course offerings include: 

• Intro to Statistics

• Intro to Composition

• US Health Careers

• Biology

• other general courses

In limited circumstances 10th graders may enroll in College Now, and generally 11th and 12th graders with a GPA of 80 or higher are eligible to enroll in College Now. Most courses are offered in person on the Lehman College campus and some are offered online.
